Who is The Running Divatarian?

All 23 years of my life have been spent dreaming of the things I want instead of doing something to get them. Some people would term this perpetual stasis as FEAR. My fear has come in many forms, i.e., staying in when I should have been going out and making new friends, not going after well-deserved positions, and mostly, gaining 30-50 pounds.
One day, however, God woke me up, put a pen in my hand, tennis shoes on my feet, and said, “Go.”
This blog diary chronicles my realization of the fear, insecurities and low self-esteem in my life and my attempt to abolish it through running, writing, eating healthy foods and reading inspirational books.
And attempting to lose 50 pounds.
As this blog progresses, you will see me go from nurturing the things I FEAR most to the things I LOVE most: writing, running, feminism, reading books, health and fitness, my personal relationships, beauty products, natural hair, anything homegrown/organic, and hopefully by the end of all this, me.
