Running Log

As you may or may not know, I’m teaching myself, one slow foot in front of the other, to run. Learning to run has always been a dream of mine. Throughout middle and high school I wanted to try out for the track and field/cross country teams, only to be scared away by those more limber and athletic than me. Now, as an overweight college student who faces the realization that life is very, very short, I am FINALLY embarking on the dream that I’ve always had. Follow along as I fulfill my lifelong desire.

Marathon/Half Marathon/13-Week Walk/Run Training Log
March 26: Week 1, Day 1- Started running again today after 2+ months off. Conditions were cloudy and cold, and I felt out of breath a few times. Still finished, but felt queasy afterward. Legs felt strong before, during and after run. No problems with left knee or left heel. Will run again on Monday.
